Terms of Service
Please make sure you read through my entire terms of service before commissioning me. By commissioning me you are agreeing to adhere to my TOS.
Failure to adhere my terms of service will result in blacklisting and removal from any future service.I reserve the right to change my TOS at any time.

-Animals
-Anthro and furry characters
-Mechs
-Fantasy creatures
-FanartI will not draw--Gore/extreme wounds
-NSFW content of any kind, including suggestive content
-Hateful content/imagery
-Political content/imagery
-Demonic imagery/characters/symbolism
- Human genitalia on anthro/furry characters unless wearing clothes (breasts etc…)
-Romantic content (kissing, etc…)
Please remember the artist has the right to decline or refuse to draw or accept any commission for any reason
-Commissions are first come first serve when my slots open-My Trello details the order of my commissions. Commissions are done one at a time and will be done in the order they are sorted on my Trello. I will not begin a piece until the piece before it has been finished.-My Trello has a separate queue for commissions made through my Etsy store. These commissions have their own time frames and will be worked on between independent commissions.-Commissions have various turn around times. Unless a large piece, commissions are expected to be finished within 1-2 months. Rush fees may be discussed. (Commissions made through Etsy will be completed within time given in description)-All reference sheets provided for the commission MUST BE SFW. Edits to the sheet to make it SFW is also acceptable.-The complexity of the client's characters and/or background will incur an increase of price.-You may not use ANY of my artwork for NFT or blockchain technology of any sort.-I reserve the right to use any and all artworks I create in future portfolios and examples.-You may NOT edit my art work. (You may add background colors and background designs to pieces for icons and banners as long as proper credit is given for the original art)-If you wish to use my art for commercial purposes, a commercial fee may be discussed.-I will draw characters without reference sheets, however please make sure all markings are clear and visible on the pieces of art you provide. I will not work off written descriptions.-Clients will be sent a water marked and unmarked version of their commission-Art must be credited to @Boltdog500
Payment-All payment is done is USD-All payments will be made using PayPal's invoice feature. (This does not apply to commissions made through my Esty store)-Payments must be made within 24 hours. Failure to pay will result in loss of your commission slot and potentially loss of future service.-All payments will be made upfront. Payment plans are only allowed on commissions over $300.-Commission will not begin until after payment is made in full.-Commissions for physical items will have a shipping fee-Refunds are only given if I am still within the sketch stage. I will refund you 50% of the commission price. Once past this stage I will not allow refunds. If your piece has not yet been started on and you would like a refund, I will refund you 100% of the commission total price.-Any attempts at filing a Paypal chargeback will result in immediate blacklisting and termination of your commission and future service.
Commission ProcessI will contact you throughout the commission to make sure everything is looking good and you are happy with how the piece is coming along.The main contact points will be (depending on what was commissioned):-To get approval on the concept sketch-To get approval on the finalized sketch-To get approval on the linework-To get approval on the flat colors-To get approval on the shading-To get approval on the backgroundI will contact you additionally if I have questions about a character's markings or other parts of the piece. You are more than welcome to request more WIPS from me at any time.
I don't have a problem correcting your piece throughout the sketching and flat color stages of the commission. Marking corrections and minor changes can be made up to the flat color phase. However large changes like pose during this phase will incur a fee. Please ask for these changes and ideas during the sketch phase! Changes asked for in and past the shading phase will incur a fee.If you have an idea for your piece in mind, please send me a sketch beforehand or give a detailed description. I want to be able to make your art the best it can be! :)Please remember Artistic Liberty pieces will NOT receive WIPS and the commissioner will be contacted with the final piece when it is finished.
Physical ItemsPhysical items have the same process as a regular commission.Clients will receive digital water marked and unmarked files of the art for the item.Once your item has been finished a picture will be taken of the final product before being shipped to you.You must be able and comfortable supplying an address to send the item to, as well as providing your legal name.All shipped items will have tracking numbers, which the commissioner will receive upon their commission being shipped.
Custom DesignsI offer custom designs in a couple forms.Artistic Liberty:I am given a moodboard, or color palette and/or keywords and optional preferred species by the client. I will contact the client with the design once it is finished. There are no WIPS for this type of custom.
Custom Designs:Both the client and I work together to create a character. The client may provide a mood board and/or description for me to work off of as well as what species they would like the character to be. If the client is unsure of what they would like and would like the artist's judgment for the piece, I am still happy to offer this here. The client will however be able to input changes or suggestions for the design unlike with artistic liberty. The client will be contacted for the standard WIPS as with a regular commission.-Custom designed characters may be used commercially however the art I created for them may not be. If you wish to use the art I created for the design commercially, a commercial fee may be discussed.--You may alter the design however you like after purchase however, you may not make edits to my artwork. I don't have an issue if you wish to do this for personal use, but it must not be public.-If you edit the design you must credit myself (@Boltdog500) for the original design and credit yourself for the edits on any future reference sheets created.
